​​Q:  How do I become a member of SC•RN?

     A:  Complete the membership application form found under the Membership→Potential Members tab & return the application with your cash or check (written to:  South Carolina Rooster Nurses) to Gloria Fowler in Room 204 of the College of Nursing.



Q:  How do I earn points to get a graduation cord?

​     A:  Members earn points by attending monthly meetings or participating in the SC•RN or SNA's community service events, as well as healthcare related service events on campus (i.e., blood drives, Dance Marathon, Relay for Life).  In order to graduate with honor cords, each member must attain 40 points per semester (80 points per academic year total) for the 3 consecutive semesters preceding graduation.



Q:  How will I know when SC•RN is going to have a general meeting or community service event?

​      A:  After submitting your membership application, your USC email address will be connected to the SC•RN email blast group.  Then you will receive emails regarding SC•RN participation activities throughout the semester.
